Young people in Essen had no central place to discover local events, activities, and volunteering. Information was scattered. Emmanuel, then 13, decided that was worth fixing.
What he built
A fully functioning platform for young people in Essen — with events, volunteering listings, bilingual support (EN/DE), user sign-up, and a live deployed URL. Built and shipped independently at age 13.

Does my teen need any coding experience?
None at all. The workshop is designed for complete beginners. Emmanuel was 13 with no prior experience when he published his first website. We start from zero.
What equipment does my teen need?
A laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection. No software to install beforehand. Just open a browser and join the Zoom link.
Will my teen actually publish a live website?
Yes — every student publishes a real site by the end of the 3 hours. Not a mockup or PDF. A live URL they can share with friends and family right away.
Is this live or pre-recorded?
Fully live and interactive. Your teen can ask questions, share their screen, and get direct help in the moment — not days later from a forum.
Why only 6 students per session?
So no one gets lost. John tracks every student's progress in real time. If something doesn't work, it gets fixed together — not left for your teen to figure out alone.
What happens after the workshop?
Your teen keeps the website they built and the live link to share with anyone. They'll also have hands-on experience with AI tools they can keep using on their own.
